Sue Like
Sue has been Martin’s righthand (wo)man from the outset of this 6633 Arctic Adventure, bringing a much needed softer touch that some athletes need at times. Never without a smile on her face, this demeanour hides a similar passion for pushing oneself to their limits, and was one of the competitors in the inaugural 2007 race when the conditions were insanely tough from start to finish.
Sues background in extreme Ultra running and triathlon means that she (like all the others on the organising team) will understand the desire to test yourself in this most demanding of environments.
Sue is the “carrot”, whilst Martin might be considered the “stick”, and is always available for a “cwtch” (it’s a special Welsh thing) whenever one is needed.
