Nate Dirvin (3rd 380)… an absolutely pleasure to have on the race. Barely knew he was there throughout, just quietly and without fuss got the job done. 

Cedric Mallet (1st 250)… very quiet man who hid a steely determination beneath. No bother throughout - just simply did it.

Steven Jackson (2nd 380)… pulling the heaviest sled by quite some margin in the whole history of the 6633, yet never once moaning or complaining. In fact quite the contrary, was always smiling and happy whilst suffering immeasurably. Another absolute pleasure to have on the race and a heroic performance.

Hayley Robinson and Mark Whittle (5th= 380)… a cracking team that was forged on the trail, each pushing each other throughout. Great to watch their epic down moments and to witness their highlight of crossing the line together, in time to see Wales kick off in the 6 nations. 

(2nd 380)… if ever there was a person who replicates the outsiders perceived image of the race, then Tony is this man. Having the wrong clothing systems, to being on the Sat Phone to work throughout, to failing to press the Help button, to going from last to 2nd in the last 40 miles - this is our man!!

(2nd 350)… a ballsy athlete if ever there was one. A type 1 diabetic who defies what limits are achievable. Came back after his DNF in 2016 to “finish unfinished business” and did it with aplomb. It’s this type of performance that impresses us so much.

(350 1st=)… Like many names before on this list, impressed by her no fuss, no drama attitude, just simply smashed it, plain and simple.

(1st 120)… for sheer determination and breaking the 120 mile record, it’s hard to see beyond Kev’s performance. He basically went balls out for the finish line from 40+ miles out, and set a record that I think is going to be hard to beat. 

 (1st 350)  What an athlete and what a wonderful person through and through. He is the only person ever to compete in the 6633 without any support from the organisers at any point - completely self sufficient. And he is the only athlete who I believe would have challenged Mimi’s record had he not decided to wait for multiple hours for his mate. Another absolute gent.

(1st 120)… probably the most laid back competitor to ever grace the start line of the 6633, but this hid a very steely determination to win. An absolutely gent in every way, and even went on to medic the 350 after his race
